Counting The cost

For our sermon on September 7th, we looked at Luke 14:25–33, where Jesus teaches the crowds that following Him means bearing a cross, renouncing all else, and counting the cost of discipleship. This passage confronts us with the radical nature of Christ’s call: a call to die to ourselves so that we might truly live in Him. This message from Pastoral Intern Sammie Hargrave challenges us to examine our loyalties, forsake every idol, and embrace the worth of Christ above all else.
